We have our first look at what the new Suburban Z71 is going to look like. One of the major standouts for the Z71 compared to other Suburbans is the unique front end that has a new grille, fascia and a skid plate. There's also front and rear tow hooks, large off-road wheels, and special Z71 badges.

Along with the cosmetic upgrades, the Z71 comes with a 5.3L L84 V8 engine (355 hp, 383 lb-ft torque) partnered with a 10-speed automatic transmission. For improved off-roading capability it has four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case and Hill Descent Control, which isn't available in the LT model.

I gotta agree, the all-black wheels take away from the Z71's profile as an off-road edition.
