I bought my Yukon last May. It’s smelled hot like something is burning at times when I am idling. Have been told it is nothing to worry about it’s a “new” car smell. Then two weeks ago low oil light came on. No oil registered on dip stick (I was not due for service) we added two quarts of oil and it has still smelled very hot at idle at times still. Today I went to leave and it made a big whining noise and shook trying to turn over. The second the engine turned over it turned itself off. After that there was a very strong gas odor… needless to say I’m waiting for a tow but has anyone else experienced this?
