Noticed my new tahoe wanted to do an update so accepted and it installed over an hour. Went back and everything seemed fine but went out the next morning and the battery was dead. Took it to the dealership, supposedly cleared and reset the system. Gave it back to me, and after stopping at the store noticed the radio was still on after the door opened. Back to dealership and after talking to GM they decided it was corrupt during the update. Installed a new module and it is doing the same thing. Anyone else have the same issue/remedy?

Hi there,

Did you ever get a remedy to this situation?

Hi there,

Did you ever get a remedy to this situation?
So they ended up doing a factory reset and manually pushing the update and supposedly fixed it. I just took it in last Friday for a routine oil change and of course there is a recall with the radio so as they were dealing with the recall the radio isn’t working properly so they ended up keeping it again. Hopefully will know something this week.

Mine is doing the same thing. Mine also dies and I'm taking it in tomorrow.

Yikes. Really annoying to have all these issues.

My buddy’s 2020 Silverado has been into the dealer 13, yes, 13 times because the radio won’t turn off, monitor dies, volume is possessed, etc! GM said it is a problem with vehicles assembled in Mexico (first digit of the VIN would be a 3).
My girlfriend’s 2021 Tahoe is now having radio issues (won’t turn off, volume control is messed up). She has been locked out of the car with the key inside which should not happen. Problem is, her VIN starts with a 1 (assembled in the USA).
GM told my buddy they have no idea how to fix it!
My buddy is so frustrated he is looking at a new Ford pickup.
Wondering if there's been any update on this. We have a 2021 Tahoe Premier that just started having an issue with the radio staying on. We've only had it for a couple of months and this is our first issue.

Best,
Just got my 2022 High Country last week. Seems like a variety of hardware/software electronic issues. I lost the interior lights, running board lights, and a have a “safety restraint “ warning. I found the rear interior light and the foot kick /Chevy ground light on after parked 2 hours, and the radio wouldn’t turn off briefly as well. They blamed a short in overhead console and are going to replace that.
