2021 Yukon Denali - Gas Smell

I truly am starting to regret this $95k investment.

Reaching out to see if any 2021
Yukon owners have experienced a heavy gas smell when standing in front of SUV, inside the car when the recirculation is off and inside the car after you remote start.

I took it to the dealership and they gave me the ‘can’t duplicate and can’t smell gas’ BS. They are full of it. I spent today googling ‘2021 Yukon Gas Smell’ and it looks like it a known issue.

Just looking for any owner out there that dealt with this, how they pressed issue and what was the outcome.

Thank you

I did and eventually the fuel modulator went out. I was parked nose in in my garage and the car wouldn’t turn over. They never tell you that if your engine is not running you cannot put the car into neutral. The dealer did not have the part to bypass it and they essentially told me I was on my own to figure out how to get it out of the garage. Roadside assistance had to send three different tow trucks. They tow truck driver used a stick and a wrench to mimic the “tool.” The front grill was damaged by the time I made it to the dealer. I ended up selling it to a Lincoln dealer and bought a navigator. I actually got $1000 more than what I paid for the vehicle and drove it for 10 months put 14,000 miles on it. All the while it was sitting dead in the shop. Best thing I did was get rid of that piece of garbage. I had many electrical issues the electrical module had to replaced twice for the back screens and all power sources for the back. It also burnt oil. At one point oil was not even registering on my dipstick .

We are currently dealing with the same issue. Although we can’t figure out any specific times the smell occurs, it is very irregular. We’ve taken it to the dealer once and was told it was “bad gas” which we felt was total BS. We tried several tanks of only Chevron gas to rule this out and sure enough the smell is still present. We are taking it to a different dealer tomorrow hoping they can solve the problem.
Did you ever get the issue resolved?
