I just bought a 2021 Yukon Denali XL. It didn't come with a built in trailer brake. I don't want to mount a clunky aftermarket brake controller under my dash. Can I order a factory controller switch and harness and simply plug it in? Or is there more required to make it work. Thanks in advance.

No, I've read several online reports that the factory integrated brake controller is linked to the anti-lock brake system, the primary control unit, and other units, and the OEM switch cannot just be plugged in. After market "clunky" controller is the only option. I'm putting a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 in my '21 Tahoe.
