Bent Rods are bigger issue than the lifters

On the Facebook page for new Tahoe's, there is a gentleman claiming that the 5.3 and the 6.2 V8's suffer from bent push rods in addition to the lifter issues. He's citing this YouTube video and warning people not to purchase the new Tahoe. https://www.youtube.com/watchv=1m6z1FQeHVY&t=446s&ab_channel=CrazedPerformanceRepair NS
The allegation is that the bent rods is a bigger issue than the lifters. So is this something we need to be aware of? Any insights would be appreciated.

Mine had the one bent push rod they replaced that one but put in all new lifters. The push rod bent from the faulty lifter.

If there is a problem with bent connecting rods, then GM has a big problem. More likley a push rod, but that requires a lot of something wrong also, unless the rod itself was weak.
