My 2015 suburban would indicate when it switched from 8 to 4 cylinders. Don't see any indicators on the 2021 Yukon XL Denali. Anybody know if the 6.2L uses it and if it shows when in use?

Yes. That or DFM. I get the two mixed up sometimes. But does it show it? Im not sire. Don’t think so.

It does, but I think they got rid of the V4/V8 state indicator on the dash screen. I can hear mine pretty prominently switch back and forth between modes. There is also an exhaust flapper valve which is another indicator of AFM or cylinder deactivation.

Weird I can't tell on my yukon at4 if it has DFM or not. I don't have auto/start stop and not sure if when DFM is activated or not on the dash. On my ram1500 it tells me in the dash if it goes in to eco mode or not.
