3 week old 2021 Yukon XL SLT and just lost all speakers except for front drivers side. Using an LG v60 ThinQ Android. I'll post of it comes back
I have filed a complaint with GM and received a case number. Their rep called me and left a voicemail with his name. I have called him back three times with no return phone call. I would suggest everyone on this thread do the same. There are power in numbers and no one seems to be in a hurry to address the issue. The dealership has been no help other than taking my information...haven't heard back from them in almost three weeks. I have also consulted a lemon law attorney for advice; will keep everyone posted.

I have connected with a Lemon Law attorney for this issue. (GM Customer Service Complaint number was no help) Based on the dealership's response and GM's response, I don't believe they know what the issue is or how to fix it. If you would like to contact the attorney, here is her info:

Holy cow! I'm so glad I Googled this problem. I have a 2021 yukon with 1080 miles on it and it just happened today. I thought it was because it was in the shop for repairs from hitting a deer (yes a brand new vehicle with 1047 miles on it) and the repair guy did something with the computer. Still going to stop at dealership tomorrow and tell them. Figures. $68000 piece of crap. Probably something to do with the crappy chips that were put in to get the vehicles out to the consumers.
And I forgot. Android. Samsung 10 phone being used and was just connected when I noticed it doing something strange.

Well... At least I'm not alone! I have a 2021 Tahoe Z71 with 9k miles. I bought it brand new (8 miles on it) in April this year. Same as everyone else ~$65k. The speakers did their thing yesterday for the first time that I'm positive of. As with many other folks here, Samsung S10 hooked up via Bluetooth and switching between YouTube videos. I look forward to everyone's revelations as they arise.

Hopefully they come up with something! Although, my wife's brand new Colorado Z71 had ridiculous problems with her infotainment system since day one. No dealerships or GM were any help and we decided to just cough up the money to put an aftermarket head unit in hers. I have my fingers crossed that this is where the problem lived and it's not in the ECU.

We will see!

I just picked up my 21 Yukon SLT on Tuesday. It has 8k miles on it and have noticed some intermittent periods when speakers don’t work. Happened this morning when I started car and drive it for 15 mins. Parked it for 45 mins and then turned it back on and everything worked fine. I have an Apple iPhone X. I do think there are some issues with the software and switching between CarPlay, Bluetooth or handset use, but think the speaker issue has to do with the amplifier. When utilizing the turn signal this morning with speakers out the noise it makes was not coming through the speakers. This has nothing to do with the phone and thus leads me to believe it has to do with the amp. Anyone have any further information or had the dealer check the amp?

I don't have a Tahoe or Yukon but a 2021 Suburban purchased in December, 2020. Today, the whole left side of the speakers went out. I am going to call the Dealer today but after reading all the comments on here, seems to be an issue with GM Trucks

Have had Yukon XL Denali for about a week.
Entire left side speakers just stop working.
This appears to be random at this point, but I haven't fully investigated.
After I park it for a while then start it up the left side speakers work again.

I plan on looking for some common action that triggers the left side to stop working, but was wondering if anyone else has had this happen?

Hi. Was this issue ever resolved?
I've had my 21' yukon in the dealership twice because the whole left side speakers stop working aswell. Just got off the phone with service tech and they said they called GMC and did a system update amd should take care of the problem.. im confused as to how, but that's what I got told. This is very annoying

Not resolved... it appears to happen when activating text to speech through the phone while phone is connected to truck Bluetooth & wifi. Infrequent, but still a glitch!

Nothing resolved... This continually happens and stays that way until truck is turned off and turned on. It appears to be triggered most frequently when listening to AM/FM or XM radio then then using a cell phone for Voice to Text. This seems to cause the Audio to switch to the phone audio and at that time kills the left speakers. Was hoping some Firmware update would have come along by now.

If someone has this happen again, try hitting the speech command button on the steering wheel, allow it to prompt you, and then hit the cancellation button. It seemed to work for me and the speakers came back. I think it overrides whatever microphone abnormality occurs
