Anyone else have issues with their engine? After 3,000 miles my check engine light came on and the whole
car / engine started to rattle and putter. Car was at GMC for 5 weeks. They said they replaced the lifters and something

Yes 5k miles lifter went out also! I’ve owned 8suburbans since 95 this is the first one I’ve had to put in shop

Truck is now in the shop for the same issue. 2021 yukon already went in and now 2021 sierra. Gm has issues

I have a 2021 broken down at 3500 miles new lifters and oil pump and crankshaft. Just went back in with 8500 miles and needs new lifters. Dealership wants to put new engine in car. Already told them do not want the car back.

The worst part about this is the road side assistance. They will tow your car for free and then give you $35 dollars a day for a rental. That won’t even get you a four door with the way car rentals are changing these days.

Oh ya. I've had to fight my dealer to get me a courtesy vehicle. Right now in a buick over my 2021 sierra at4. I didn't want to drive the yukon across state as I am scared it will break down.

2021 AT4 Yukon 7k - had to have it towed to dealership last night. Same thing you described. Service department suspects lifter issue as well. I’ve had Tahoe’s and suburban’s over the last 20 years and have never had problem. Super disappointed that I have a new vehicle with engine problems already.

All Tahoe’s/ Yukon’s/suburban’s built after mar 31st 2021 are safe. The suppliers were changed.

You Bet, Ordered a New 2021 Yukon Denali in Sept 2020, delivered in Feb, 2021, After 3,000 miles, Valve issue, engine shut down on my way to Chemo treatment, got towed to dealer, fixed it, Now 6 weeks later, SAME failure with under 10K miles, even if the fix again, I don't feel safe!!! GM needs Resposable Engineers!!!

Nothing yet. Both vehicles still under 4k miles. Sierra got all lifters replaced but only have 500 miles on it since. Yukon only 1 side of lifters repaired.

5700 miles and 1,000 miles from home on a family vacation and it started knocking. Lifters and pushrods. We are told they are putting heads anf lifters on it but can not get parts! We had to fly home.. First gm vehicle we have ever bought. Have been trying to get ahold of someone at gm that can help.. I told them they can keep it.

That is so unfortunate and exactly why we won't take road trips in our vehicles. Crappy thing is I bought 2 GM vehicles for my first time ever! I have an attorney on both mine to try to get crappy GM to do something.
