Hey Guys, just feeling my way around here trying to get the vibe. I can't expect everyone to like my choices, but at the end of the day, I'm the one that lives with them, not anyone else... Thanks for having me.

Mods include a 3" Ready Lift SST kit, 24x14 4Play 4PF5 wheels, Rolling Big Power Repulsor 33x12.25r24 tires, fender modifications, smoked side markers and rear bumper reflectors & window tint. Next on the list will be bigger brakes, roof rack assembly, and tailgate setup from Westcott Designs.

I wouldn't say I put in a lot of work. I just know what I want and will go to any lengths to achieve the desired look that I want.

As for the color, it's a new GM color called Redwood Metallic (Auburn Metallic or Caffeine for Chevy). In 2022, it replaced GM's long-standing Smokey Quartz Metallic.

It's not too tall or awkward to get in, so I'm happy... so is the 4'11" wifey. It's the curbs I worry about... And most drive-thru's are out of the question.

Unfortunately, I don't have the "technology package" with the added side mirror cameras, so I can't see anything on my left or right side. I've adjusted the passenger side mirror slightly downwards to see the top of the rear passenger tire, but that's about as far as my visibility goes if I'm trying to avoid curb rash. Unless someone here has figured out a way to add in the factory side mirror cameras and have them synched up to GM's onboard setup, I may seriously consider installing a secondary camera system.

As you would expect, I get a lot of looks since there's no one out there with this kind of wide stance set up, but I'm not one to intentionally draw attention to himself, so I just park it like anyone else without looking for that premium "showcase" parking spot to show it off.

Lol I hear you man! That I don’t know. I’m the same way! I was thinking of adding that rear view mirror camera set up. I really like that thing! As far as mods, I’m doing all the little mods until I figure out the style of what I want on the exterior. I’ve posted several mods I’ve done already.

I do have the backup camera and towing zoom lens, so the hardware is there. I just need to figure out a way to add 2 additional views after adding the additional camera's that are normally placed on the bottom of both side view mirrors.

There’s gotta be a way to do it. The only other thing I can think of is buying them(cameras-side mirrors) directly from the dealer and allowing them to connect everything. Seems complicated?..

For the last few weeks I've been trying to find out just that... Whether or not it's a plug-and-play scenario if I just bought the cameras and installed them. Sadly it's not that easy. I spoke to 3 different GM parts department experts in my area, and there seems to be a harness that runs through the side mirrors. If your Yukon didn't come with the technology or illuminated package, then you're out of luck because your vehicle won't have it already equipped.

I've already put miniature blind spot mirrors on, and they help aligning myself in parking spaces, but I'm completely blind for the two front wheels. So, I "might" look into getting a separate camera system installed that's just dedicated for the front wheels.

I haven't been able to find any options for the side mirrors, so I'm just going to leave it as is. So far I've been able to adjust using the additional mini mirrors I've attached, so I use them often to ensure I don't run into any curbs or cut myself short going into a sharp turn.

Next on the list will be some 8-Piston Brembos. I've been sourcing various companies to get a set, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet due to other personal priorities that need more attention. Plus, I haven't quite committed to a caliper color.

Ordered my Brembo Big Brake kit earlier this week, and the rear rotors arrived today. The front rotors will soon arrive, and the calipers will be finished and will arrive later next month. What I didn't know was Brembo does custom painting. So now knowing this, I ordered the 8-pot calipers to match the exterior Redwood Metallic paint. It'll be a one stage paint process, but that also includes a high-temp clear coat after the paint. I didn't want to stand out with their flashy red, yellow, or lime green calipers, so I went with something low key. As expected, I'll drop more pictures when all of my components arrive, or when everything is installed.

I ordered everything through "BuyBrakes". I contacted them back in January before I bought my AT4, but I didn't have the vehicle, and I didn't have aftermarket wheels back then... I was sourcing other companies at the time, Ceika, AP Racing, Brembo, and Wilwood, just to get a feel for who offered the best quality brakes. I eventually went with Brembo, since they have a long track record of providing quality products, and they offer their products in a lot more vehicle applications than any other.

As for the price, I paid upwards of $7k. That includes the calipers you see in the previous post above, rear cross drilled rotors (since no one has a rear brake kit to replace the e-brake setup), front two-piece 16" cross drilled rotors, steel braided lines, adaptor bracket, Brembo brake fluid, Brembo brake pads for the front and rear.

For those of you interested in updates on my AT4, my Brembo 8-piston brakes arrived yesterday. The plan is to have them installed next week. I'll be sure to post pictures after the install.

Installed my brakes today... Now I need to break them in. I'll post more photos during the day.

You can't see the color matched calipers, but you can see the amount of space those rotors take up inside the 24's. So far they're solid when it comes to stopping, and they don't generate any brake dust. The calipers are also easy to clean because of the large windows between rim spokes. I've only had them on for a few days now and haven't encountered any hard braking, but never say never.

Having these brakes certainly adds a lot more cleaning of the front wheel barrels. I clean the vehicle twice weekly, so I never let the wheels get too filthy. I still get the "thumbs up", the small talk when I'm at the public car wash, and the covert picture taking by people in my blind spot while driving, but I'm use to it.
