Your better off with out it, I find it extremely dangerous !! If someone sitting on the back seats do not buckel upp the seat belts and you hit the brakes fast to avoid an accident, the person could be thrown forward, face first into the projected screen and loose their face on it !! It should have been made to retract back downward into the seat frame as previous models like the Escalade ?? As usual GMC is find ways to save money again ! I am very sorry I purchased a 2021 Yukon Denali, at $83,000 with most of the conveince features removed out of my 2015 Yukon STL at $52,000 !! Even the eye glass case onto was removed !! Side view Mirrors do not have built in turn signal indicators, built in popup safe in dash removed, and so many more items they have found a way to remove, even the driver and passenger pillar handels removed !! HOW MUCH DO YOU HAVE TO PAY TO KEEP THESE FEATURES INTO THE PRODUCTION OF THE VEHICLE, GMC !!
Wow... yeah, looks that they are trying to save some money
They probably removed the option because the software is severely limited, and the Google information for RSE was rushed and not ready for prime time.

They've removed it because of the national chip shortage.

i dont think so, cause all the other options they removed till now, they never made a statement that it would be for the remainder of the year. When they state the option wont come back for 2022, it means its because of all the problems everyone has been reporting. I guarantee if the option comes back for 2023 the RSE software will be different.

According to this article from just a few weeks ago the system is not done just some features from the system.

I'm with you though, I had one ordered with the rear media since September and still not accepted in production yet. Had to get one without and will try to trade in if mine ever comes in.
