New member here! Shoutout to @LeamanGriffin. I found your build on YouTube and then found this forum. Tons of great information over here.

I have a few questions for the members and would love your input below.

Here's my '22 RST after a fresh 20% tint on the front glass and windshield this week.

My next item is wheels. I was 100% going to go with 22s until I saw all of the great pictures of 24s on here. They just look right.

I would like to stick with an OEM replica and I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down to the following 3:

Wheel Tire Automotive tire Hubcap Alloy wheel

Wheel Tire Automotive tire Tread Hubcap

Wheel Automotive tire Hubcap Tire Automotive design

1) Cadillac Onyx rep
2 & 3) GMC rep

Which do you like and would you go 22 or 24?

After the wheels, I'm going to look into lowering and will definitely smoke whatever lights/reflectors I'm able to on the exterior. Going to also de-badge the driver and passenger doors.

Really appreciate anyone's input!

Hey man, nice ride. I have the same one and just got my wheels put on. Go with 24s without a doubt. I like the top and middle of the ones you posted. Here is mine with 24s on 305 35 24 tires. (Ignore the dirty wheel well in the first pic)

I went with 22s on mine, but I live in Michigan and roads are terrible. Black Rhino Kunene wheels with 10 Offset so they poke almost 1" more than stock. Doing the following in the next week:

Lowering with the front springs to rear and Belltech front replacements.
Tinting front side windows to match
Tinting the rear tail lights
Tinting front turn signals
De-badging the side Tahoes and rear RST and Duramax logos. Leaving the rear Tahoe below rear window.
Installing AVS Aeroskin to lead edge of hood to protect it.

Will post more pics when done.

I live in Michigan too, where abouts? I'm in Grand Blanc. Let me know who does your struts and how much cuz I'm thinking about doing the same thing. So if we're in the same area I know where to go.

I am in the Lansing area. I know a guy locally that used to own/operate his own auto accessories business. Now he just does stuff part-time out of his garage as a side business. He does mostly ceramic and tint, but he is putting the struts on for me because I am doing the ceramic and tint through him.

tinted orange front fender blinkers
tinted taillights
Lowered 2" front and back using Belltech adjustable struts

Removed RST and Duramax badging from tailgate (left Tahoe badging under tailgate window)

That’s fuckin beautiful! What kind of inch drop did you go with on the front and rear to get that stance? How’s the tire tread?…even wear?
Thanks, I do really like it. I did 2.25" in the front and 2" in the back. It set a little too level for me to begin so i went a little lower in the front. Haven't noticed any uneven wear yet. I did however have trouble with them getting the camber back in spec.

It came out great. How did you get the camber resolved?

I wasn't able to, it about half degree out of spec. I still think a good alignment shop could get it there. One by me can't do my 24s though.
