Update: the car ended up back at the dealer for a bad fuel injector. I had it. The problem appears to be the 6.2. Got a new 23 Yukon Denali diesel 3.0. Runs like a charm. Super fuel efficient.
Uh... My Duramax just started throwing errors and codes like the OP, so don't get too comfortable yet. Dealer is checking the harness, and giving guidance of being very diligent. But if harnesses are taking out engines, there are biiig problems. I can't even imagine how that could happen.
 
I ordered a 23 Denali. Took it off the lot in February. By August Engine died and needed a replacement. Fast forward 2 months and I just picked it up this morning. I didn't drive it two miles before complete Engine failure again....in a brand new engine. Two new engines in less than a year. Terrible customer service. They have offered a brand new vehicle, but I want nothing to do wth GM ever again
 
I took delivery of a brand new 2022 Yukon XL Denali on 8/11/22. Exactly two weeks later the dealer had to pick it up with a flat bed due to multiple system warnings including check engine light and running rough with engine noises. I still have not received any news whatsoever from the dealer. Frankly I’m shocked and getting pretty angry. It was assembled in 7/22 and had less than 10 miles when I drove it off the lot. 6.2L engine. Anyone have a similar situation? Could this still be the pushrod issue? I’m thinking I may just demand a full and complete refund. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
All the 6.2 are having problem here in NYC for the limo business.,, was in the dealer yesterday and saw about 15 been replaced., whats worse is that the wait is 3 month minimum., mine died just driving ., it turn off while rolling. Now im stuck with a new cars and the payment has to be pay., as soon as this is fix am trading this crap., thank God I bought an extended warranty., for the must part the engine dont last more than 68k miles.

What was the outcome when it happened twice did gm buy the vehicle back??
 
I have a 2023 Yukon Denali new Dec 2022 engine done at 12 ,000 miles Don’t know what will be new engine delivery they’re trying to loan me a car that doesn’t tow I tow min 3x’s a week.
Hi my truck has been at the dealership since July 12 of this year and I finally contacted a lemon law lawyer that is going to help me with a buy back but today dealership contacted me saying my truck was ready the day after they found out I had representation

Ooohh, I'd be livid with this and all the other problems these new Yukon/Tahoe owners are dealing with after spending close to $100k for a vehicle! I have a 2004 Yukon Denali currently and have had a 1998 and a 2002. My car just leaks as mentioned in other posts but all this is making me rethink my want of buying a new Yukon! I have a 6.2 Denali, GMC should stop being so arrogant, admit they made mistake by using the new 6.2 and fix their problems! First one they should do is stop using the engine they're using. And their lack of customer service and enthusiasm for helping their customers is appalling!

2023 Tahoe RST with 6800 miles. So far so good. The only issue I have had is the entertainment center. The sound will pause for a second and then continue. It only happens when you first start up. It usually does it a couple of times and then it’s good. It almost seams as if it is because the system is not completely booted up. It’s done it since day one. Anyone else have this issue?
 
Our 22 Yukon Denali with just over 30k miles died while driving on the interstate. Engine failure. The dealership said it was the main bearing or rod bearing inside the motor and won’t know more until it’s pulled out. GM is replacing the motor and we’re told we should have our car back within a week or so. Very disappointing.
 
My 2023 Yukon Denali died in February on a trip when i was 200 miles from home. Diagnosed as spun bearings and needed a new engine. The car was 5 months old and had 11,000 miles. The "service advisor" at GM corporate assigned to my case was completely useless. Car is back now after being out of service for 28 days. I have a lawyer that filed a lemon law case and am waiting to see what happens.
 
Same thing happened to mine. Bought in November of 2023 now the engine needs to be replaced. Dealer states there was metal shavings. GMC clearly knows this is an issue. Customer Service is also not willing to make this right. Wish I would of known all this prior to buying a 100,000 car that isn’t worth that

What resolution were you provided ? Any insight would be helpful as I am on the same boat
 
I have a 2023 Yukon XL Denali. Took possession in Nov'22. In Dec'22 the vehicle would randomly shut off while driving. Then in Jan'23 the engine started chirping and knocking at 1,080 miles. The oil was full of metal. It's now at the dealer getting torn down. GM is fighting replacing the vehicle. Thank gosh my state has fairly solid lemon law statutes.
What resolution did they provide you with ?

Going through the same thing, dealership replaced both banks of lifters, mechanic took on test drive and bottom of the engine is now making noise and metal shavings in the oil, so now I need a new engine , I’m 1000 miles from home with a family of 5 and basically screwed. Filed complaint with GM three days ago and have yet to hear from them, the dealership is being very helpful but there’s only so much they can do, GM should be compensating anyone that has these engines, they know they are bad and the keep putting them in these vehicles, and the consumer is getting screwed.
 
Joining the group of frustrated 6.2 GMC Yukon owners. Purchased my 2022 GMC AT4 Yukon used with 9,000 miles. GM Certified Pre-Owned. Now at 41,000 miles the engine locked up and had to be towed to the nearest dealership which is 45 minutes from my hometown. The engine has to be replaced and they are trying to locate a new one. Dealership is only offering me tiny Buick Encore as a loaner, which doesn't work for my family. Opened a ticket with GM and they said they can not help me. That I can get a loaner and keep my receipts and submit them for review to see if they would pay for it. NOT HAPPY...
Any help would be appreciated.
 
My 2022 yukon denali with ~26k miles stalled / died on highway a few days ago. I was over 100 miles from home and shortly after pulling off to shoulder, the car became unresponsive (wouldn’t turn over with multiple error messages popping on dash). Biggest immediate issue was that I couldn’t shift it into neutral for multiple towing companies that came out (“conditions not met to shift” message). The battery was also showing very low voltage minutes after pulling off and initially thought it could all be alternator related (also tried jumpstarting). Finally was able to get a tow truck with dollies out after over 11 hours on side of the highway (most of which was in 100 degree heat). Still waiting to hear back from GMC dealership… trying to be patient but already thinking about options (lemon law suit, buyback, etc). Very upsetting to read through so many people’s similar experiences and I hope GMC figures this out.
